Twelve years of practice across design, engineering, and product, from Solano and Batangas to the Abu Dhabi skyline. I build things slowly enough to know them and ship them quickly enough to learn from real use.
The short version
I'm Ramon Logan Jr., a full-stack engineer and UX strategist living in the United Arab Emirates. I work on web products that need to feel calm, behave reliably, and hold up under real-world traffic, and I tend to do that across the whole stack, from typography to type-safe data models.
Outside of client work, I run two civic-tech projects: Abakada.org, a directory of free & open-source software with learning paths, and BetterSolano.org, a transparency platform for my hometown. I also support BetterGov.ph by contributing features, fixing bugs, designing infographic materials, and managing their online accounts. I apply the same care to these as I do a product brand: token systems, copy voice, accessibility, the lot.

Where I've done the work.
Engineers and ships across 18 production platforms within Arabian Group Holding's portfolio, covering full-stack architecture, feature delivery, and deployment infrastructure. Defines team-wide engineering standards, mentors junior developers, and aligns technical roadmaps with executive stakeholders.
Administered L2/L3 IT support across a multi-entity UAE conglomerate, maintaining 600+ endpoints and enterprise network infrastructure. Developed internal web portals for ticketing and asset management, and configured LAN topology and TCP/IP telephony across sites.
Developed and maintained full-stack codebases and hosting infrastructure for 7 partner sites, covering performance optimization, QA, and server-level SEO configuration. Engineered a barcode inventory system that replaced a manual medical supply tracking process with a fully digital workflow.
Engineered the complete stack for a cosmetics e-commerce brand, covering WooCommerce storefront development, MySQL administration, server-side performance optimization, and cPanel hosting. Instrumented analytics pipelines, maintained cross-browser compatibility, and managed paid acquisition across Google Ads and Merchant Center.
Produced brand identities, print collateral, and early web assets for regional clients, building the visual and craft foundation that informs current UI and product engineering decisions. Also handled in-house IT including hardware provisioning, system configuration, and software support.
Engineered high-precision AutoCAD datasets and multi-layered layouts for land subdivision and consolidation plans in strict compliance with statutory standards. Partnered with project managers and geodetic engineers to streamline the CAD pipeline and secure on-time delivery under tight schedules. Executed advanced traverse closures and coordinate geometry computations, converting raw field notes into granular technical descriptions to ensure absolute spatial integrity.
