BetterGov.ph is a community-driven, volunteer-led civic technology initiative based in the Philippines. Launched in September 2025 by developers and members of the local startup community, the platform was created out of civic frustration with outdated and confusing official government websites, as well as widespread concerns regarding inefficiency and corruption. Its primary mission is to make Philippine governance more transparent, efficient, and accessible to ordinary citizens — not to replace official systems, but to complement them with a modern, highly usable alternative to the traditional national portal.
